Shares Her Summer Sandal Staples
July 5 2025

Emme Parsons launched her eponymous brand in 2017, starting with just three sandal styles. Her goal: To create silhouettes that are both timeless and relevant. In the eight years since, the brand has expanded into multiple shoe categories and is stocked by iconic retailers including Bergdorf Goodman, Harrods, and MERCI - yet its mission has remained unchanged.

For Emme Parsons, the essence of style lies in “striking the elusive balance of feeling put together and at ease.” “For example, wearing flats for evening or heels with tailored shorts and a button down shirt.” It’s an ethos that comes through in every detail of her designs - where quality materials, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a clear focus on comfort come together to create pieces that feel both elevated and effortless.

In this week’s article: Style Staples with Emme Parsons, sharing her current summer sandal staples that she has on heavy rotation.

1. The Meta Sandal

“The intention behind the Meta sandal was to create a more luxurious but equally comfortable version of a rubber thong sandal. They are my current favorite style because of the ultra cushioned footbed – they literally feel like walking on marshmallows. I love wearing them with simple long cotton dresses.

The Meta Sandal is also available in Black Embossed Croc, Ivory Nappa, and Espresso Nappa.

2. The Hugo

“Before I launched my brand, I was an art director and graphic designer. Those formative years shaped my approach to design, which is very pragmatic. We spend a lot of time during the design phase and fittings thinking about where straps fall on ankles and where lines break on a woman’s leg. It’s to always ensure that our shoes are flattering.

Part of the brand DNA are barely-there styles that almost disappear on the foot. The Hugo is a good example of one of our classic styles embodying this design ethos. The tapered 55mm heel is an ideal height to allow someone to run around a city and move through.”

3. The Loop Heel

“Another part of our brand DNA are asymmetrical designs. The Loop Heel is a new SS25 design that builds upon the success that we have had with the Susan, Susan Slide and Bari family. The asymmetrical strap creates a graphic line across the vamp and the 75mm heel is the same as our best-selling Stretch Boot.

Even though it is higher than the Hugo, the flared base of the heel makes it incredibly comfortable. I love the Loop Heel in black satin styled with an all black ensemble for summer evenings out.”
